LUYI AUTO recently wrapped up shipment of custom 5-axle ultra-low platform lowbed semi-trailers to our partner in Mozambique, ready to serve local mining haulage work. These trailers will mainly transfer heavy mining machinery around Tete, a core mining area with lots of coal and mineral projects running in the region.
This model is specially made to solve the transport troubles mining teams often meet. Its ultra-low deck sits at only 850 mm. This low height makes it much easier to carry tall gear like excavators, bulldozers and drill rigs. It can pass low power lines and narrow rough mine roads where ordinary lowbed trailers get stuck easily. The five-axle layout spreads heavy weight evenly, with a safe loading capacity up to 80 tons. It keeps steady even on bumpy, unpaved mine tracks.
Our client reached out to us because they needed tough haulage equipment matching local road limits. The removable gooseneck helps workers load large machines straight from the front, saving plenty of time on site. We use Q345B high-tensile steel for the main beam, paired with heavy-duty 16.00R25 off-road tyres and strengthened leaf spring suspension. Multiple lashing points are fitted to lock cargo firmly during bumpy trips.
