In recent years, with the takeoff of the Chinese economy, the pace of infrastructure construction in China has accelerated, the logistics industry has developed rapidly, and heavy vehicles in China have been popularized, further increasing market demand. The dump truck has a high chassis, good off-road performance, flexible steering, and convenient unloading, making it an indispensable and powerful tool in engineering construction; But the high chassis of a dump truck means its center of gravity is high and its stability is poor. This requires drivers to pay more attention to traffic safety and drive steadily while driving. But in reality, we often see dump trucks roaring past at night.

Regarding accidents involving tipping over dump trucks, learn the following 5 reasons and 5 preventive measures to prevent your dump truck from tipping over:
Five reasons:

1. The ground at the dumping site is uneven and has a steep slope. The ground at the dumping site must be flat and have similar slopes. If the leveling work is not thorough, it will cause the surface of the unloading site to be uneven and have a large difference, which is easy to cause accidents.
2. The dumping site must not have a soft ground. When the unloading location of a dump truck is on a road surface formed by the rolling of dumped materials, there is a compressible space due to the large gaps between some materials. When encountering heavy loads on vehicles, due to the high pressure per unit area, local sinking occurs, resulting in tilting of the contact positions between the driving wheels on both sides and the ground. Due to the increase of the center of gravity of the dump truck with the height of the carriage and the materials inside, a relatively large eccentric torque is generated, causing the entire dump truck to roll over. For this reason, we have increased our efforts to improve the technology of the frame and suspension system, which can better prevent the occurrence of car rollover accidents.

3. The material loading inside the carriage is uneven and there is a phenomenon of uneven loading. If there are reasons such as vehicle movement at this time, it is very easy to cause the vehicle to roll over.

4. Before unloading, the driver failed to strictly comply with the safety operating procedures for dump trucks, which required the implementation of the parking brake before unloading operations could be carried out. If the unloading location happens to be on a downhill slope, during the lifting operation of the vehicle, the material slides off, causing the vehicle to slide. During the sliding process, due to uneven road surface and upper shaking caused by the lifting of the carriage, it is very easy to cause a rollover accident.
5. Poor visibility at the unloading location. If the dump truck is performing unloading operations when it is approaching dark, due to poor visibility, if the driver does not carefully observe the unloading location, it may lead to choosing the wrong location for unloading, ultimately leading to accidents.

Five preventive measures:
1. Ensure that the vehicle is in good technical condition, such as the lifting cylinder and connecting parts are firm and reliable, the car floor is flat, and the rear self-locking switch is sensitive and reliable.
2. When the driver is loading materials onto a dump truck, ensure that the loading is uniform and overloading is prohibited.

3. When choosing the unloading location, the driver should try to choose a flat and solid location.
4. When the driver performs lifting operations, lift at an appropriate speed to avoid excessive acceleration and lifting.

5. Regularly use loaders and other machinery to level and compact the unloading site.
