LUYI AUTO has locked in a fresh batch order from mining operators based in Armenia, with five-axle super-load lowbed semi-trailers picked as the core unit for hauling heavy excavation gear across rugged mine sites. The deal follows a round of on-site condition checks and payload trials that the buyer ran against a shortlist of builders.
Armenia's open-pit mines sit on uneven, gravel-heavy terrain, where excavators, bulldozers and jaw crushers often weigh 60 to 80 tons per machine. Standard tri-axle lowbeds run out of margin fast on those loads, so the operators pushed for a five-axle layout that spreads weight more evenly and keeps deck height low enough for tall rigs to clear power lines and pit ramp entrances.
The units in this order use a reinforced gooseneck frame, high-tensile steel main beams, and mechanical suspension tuned for rough ground. Five axles give a rated payload north of 80 tons, letting a single trailer move one mid-size excavator plus support tools in one trip instead of splitting the load. Drop-side rails,
twist-lock mounting points and heavy-duty ramps are fitted as standard, so crews can roll machines on and off without extra lifting gear.
Buyers flagged two reasons the LUYI AUTO units edged out competitors: faster ramp angle on the low deck, and easier access to spare parts for the axle and brake sets they already run in Yerevan. After-sales support, rather than sticker price, ended up tipping the decision.
Delivery is scheduled over the next two months, with LUYI AUTO engineers flying out for handover, load-securing training and a first-haul shakedown at the mine. If the pilot units hold up, the operators plan to extend the fleet with another batch before the end of the year.
