Those who work in livestock transportation know that traditional trailer layouts bring many practical troubles during long-distance delivery. Closed cabin spaces tend to trap stale air, allowing moisture and harmful gas to build up gradually. Combined with bumpy roads, sudden stops and crowded livestock placement, animals frequently collide with cabin structures or squeeze against each other, causing bodily injury and intense stress. To solve these common on-site problems, this study optimizes the internal layout of livestock transport trailers, focusing on practical ventilation performance and reliable collision prevention. The optimized structure fits complex road conditions and long-time transportation tasks, fully conforming to industry usage norms and animal welfare requirements.
Proper air exchange is the core of maintaining a clean and comfortable cabin environment. Removable louver vents are installed on the top and both sides of the trailer, cooperating with built-in mute fans to realize full-range air flow inside the carriage. This simple but effective structure removes stagnant air, discharges damp air and ammonia produced by livestock activities, and avoids ventilation blind areas. Workers can adjust the opening degree of vents according to external temperature and actual loading numbers. This flexible operation effectively prevents livestock heatstroke in summer and avoids cold air invasion in winter, keeping the internal environment stable and pleasant throughout the whole transportation process.
This design adopts a combination of hard isolation and soft buffer to achieve anti-collision and anti-extrusion effects. Thickened steel guardrails divide the whole cabin into independent small spaces, which can well avoid excessive gathering and mutual crowding of livestock. All rail surfaces and sharp internal corners are wrapped with wear-resistant rubber cushions, which can buffer the instantaneous impact caused by vehicle bumps, emergency braking and sharp turns. Meanwhile, the anti-slip textured floor improves the standing stability of livestock and reduces slipping and trampling accidents. The organic combination of ventilation and protective structures greatly reduces livestock damage and stress, offering a more practical and safer solution for daily livestock transportation work.
