April 15, 2026 – Shandong Luyi Vehicle Co., Ltd., known as luyi auto, has shipped custom 8-axle lowbed semi-trailers to Peru to support the country's fast-growing mining operations. This delivery helps luyi auto expand its footprint in South America's mining logistics sector.
Peru is the world's second-largest copper producer, and its mining industry relies on tough, reliable equipment to move oversized machinery over rough terrain – exactly what luyi auto's new trailers are built for.
The trailers can carry 60 to 100 tons, with options to upgrade to 150 tons for larger needs. They're made with high-strength steel, heavy-duty suspension and WABCO brakes to stand up to harsh conditions, plus anti-corrosion coatings and hydraulic goosenecks to make loading and unloading easier.
A senior luyi auto representative said the trailers will help their Peruvian partners work more efficiently and keep pace with mining expansion plans.
