With the continuous development of urban and rural construction, the demand for dump trucks is also increasing. Due to the harsh working environment and the fact that dump trucks are usually heavy-duty vehicles, attention should be paid to every step of operation during their use. How to operate a dump truck correctly to avoid safety accidents caused by small issues that are easily overlooked during use? Please remember the following operating procedures:
Before unloading, make sure that there are no personnel on both sides and rear of the vehicle, and regularly check if the lifting limit device is intact (if damaged, please stop lifting and contact the after-sales service of the modification factory as soon as possible).
2. After completing the lifting operation and before driving, be sure to turn off the power take-off switch to separate the power take-off from the gearbox and stop the oil pump from rotating; Place the manual operated valve in the center stop position to avoid the risk of automatic lifting during driving. Regularly check if the lifting and limit devices are in good condition. If they are damaged, please stop lifting and contact the after-sales service of the modification factory as soon as possible. Before driving, check that the power take-off switch and manual operating valve are in a separate and lowered state to prevent accidents. When the vehicle is in motion, the chassis power take-off must stop, and the manual operated valve must be in the center stop position. It is strictly prohibited to operate the manual operated valve to the lifting and lowering positions for driving.
3. The vehicle can only be driven when the carriage is fully aligned with the upper wing surface of the subframe, as moving the vehicle while the carriage is in a raised state is highly likely to cause malfunctions and accidents.
4. Generally, modified vehicles are equipped with lifting alarms, and drivers need to check and maintain them daily. If the alarm is abnormal while driving, the vehicle should be stopped immediately for inspection. During the period when the vehicle is no longer in use, it is recommended that the owner conduct comprehensive and regular maintenance on the vehicle to extend its service life.
When making the gear pump work, you should first step on the clutch pedal and then turn on the power take-off switch to avoid collision when the power take-off gear teeth are engaged.
When lifting the carriage, the engine speed should be controlled within 2000r/min, especially after the carriage is lifted to 40 ° C, do not increase the throttle to avoid damaging the limit valve and other components. And during the lifting operation of the carriage, there should be no facilities or people within a 5-meter radius, and the operator should not leave the cab.
7. When repairing vehicles, the complete bracket must be supported, and maintenance personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the bottom of the box to work without fully supporting the bracket
The above are the safety precautions for the operation of dump trucks. Although they are all minor issues, correct operation is beneficial for the normal and safe operation of the vehicle. And if small details are not taken seriously, it is very likely to cause huge damage, so we cannot be careless.
