a group of Angolan customers came to our factory to check out our 3-axle bulk cement tanker semi-trailers. We took them around the workshop, showing them how we cut steel, weld the tank body, and test the discharge system before the trailers leave the factory. They spent a lot of time looking at the tank's sealing design and asked about how it prevents cement from getting damp during long transport in Angola's humid climate. They also asked us about the actual load capacity of the trailers and how simple the pneumatic system is to maintain on a daily basis.
After the tour, we sat down with the Angolan team to hash out exactly what they needed for their operations. They told us that cement transport is a huge part of their country's infrastructure push, and they needed trailers tough enough to handle the rough roads out there while keeping the cement dry on those long hauls. They were really impressed with how thick the steel plates on our tanks are, and how reliably the discharge system works-those are the two things that make all the difference for their day-to-day work.
They said they'd take our technical specs back to their team and talk through a trial order. This visit gave us a much clearer picture of what the local market needs, and we're excited to keep working with them to support their construction projects.
