Mining work sites are extremely tough, with ongoing ore friction, violent mechanical impacts and persistent heavy loads that quickly wear down haulage equipment. Traditional Q235 and Q345 mild steel is cheap but poorly adapted to intensive mining work, causing trailer wear, deformation and weld cracks, frequent repairs and costly downtime. By contrast, high-strength steels like NM450 and Hardox® deliver superior performance. With HB450 hardness and 2.5 times higher wear resistance than ordinary steel, plus 1250MPa yield strength, they allow thinner, 15%–19% lighter trailer bodies. This boosts cargo capacity, improves road stability and extends service life greatly.

Despite higher upfront costs, this steel offers remarkable long-term benefits. It cuts maintenance work and downtime losses, reduces fuel use and emissions, and simplifies production by removing extra reinforcements. It also ensures high safety with great rigidity, fatigue and temperature resistance, preventing leakage and rollover risks. Highly recyclable and eco-friendly, it fixes traditional trailers' common flaws, enabling stable, cost-effective and sustainable mining fleet operation.
